I have also spent a great deal of time as a personal trainer, working with people of all ages and fitness levels, and I wish to make my knowledge on exercise and nutrition available to anyone who cares to listen.<br /><br /><strong>When it comes to health, what is your best advice to maintaining good health?</strong> <br /><br />Train as hard as your body will allow, eat five to six small meals per day, and avoid refined sugars. <br /><br /><strong>Name three favorite quotes:</strong><br /><br />"Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world." -- Archimedes<br /> <br />"I have not failed. In that case, I definitely overpaid for my carpet." -- Woody Allen<br /><br /><strong>Name three health-related books you would recommend:</strong><br /> <br />Body for Life by Bill Phillips<br />Body for Life for Women by Pam Peeke<br />The Optimum Nutrition Bible by Patrick Holford<br /><br /><strong>Who inspires you?</strong><br /><br />My girlfriend, my parents, and about three thousand other people.<br /><br /><strong>What inspires you?</strong><br /><br />The fear of failing at the things at which I wish to succeed. Oh yeah, and the movie <em>Hoosiers</em>, too. <br /><br /><strong>When you are not writing for the Life Science blogs, what do you do?</strong><br /><br />I am a screenwriter and screenwriting teacher, as well as an independent filmmaker. My most recent feature length release, <em><a href="http://www.netflix.com/MovieDisplay?trkid=73&amp;movieid=70048582">An Uzi at the Alamo</a></em>, was just made availabe on NetFlix.
