I'll confess, I love to shop. When a cute new product comes up, I'll rush to check it out. Not buy it, you understand.  It's just I like to know what's out there. I'm thrilled to share this cute new product with you: Groovy Patches. Groovy Patches are for diabetics. They have no practical value to speak of. But they're so cute! You choose one of their designs, all of which are totally groovy (of course) and attach it to the pad that surrounds your insulin pump's infusion site. Hey presto! You're expressing your individuality to the world. Making a humorous statement. Making the world a little more colorful. Whatever you want.

Groovy Patches founder, Dina Cole Klavon, says she came up with the idea after being unhappy with the "medical-looking" patch surrounding the infusion site of her own insulin pump. "Then one day it occurred to me--don't hide it, enhance it," she says. The company's motto? "Stick it to me, baby."

These patches look like they'd be a great gift for diabetic kids and teens - or hip diabetics of any age.
