Just a heads-up that Larry King, a type 2 diabetic himself, will be interviewing Della Reese and Morgan Fairchild about diabetes tonight on his program. dLifeTV's Nicole Johnson Baker will also be a guest.
Larry King Live airs 9:00 PM ET on CNN (check your local listings for details).

1. I was less than thrilled with the lady on Larry King who seemed to think a "cure" was maybe 20 years off.
I was more impressed with Dr. Sanjay Gupta who came on afterwards & spoke about the amazing strides Korean scientists are making with Embyronic Stem Cell Research. Many scientists & researchers hailed their work as some of the most important in medical history.
It was great too to see him asked "WHY THIS RESEARCH ISN'T BEING DONE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA?".
Maybe the religious, moral-right have 20 years to wait for important cures to every disease on the planet. I think a lot of people living with diabetes & other life-threatening diseases & their family & friends feel otherwise.
I'd love to hear some thoughts on this.
Cheers! Bill ;))
